IK Multimedia TONEX ONE represents the new revolution in delivering outstanding
quality sound in a pocket-sized format. When we introduced the TONEX
PEDAL, people were astonished by its exceptional sound. However, we
didn't want to stop there; we aimed for more. We decided to develop a new
product capable of achieving the same high sound quality while occupying
less space. Stripping everything down to its core and packaging it into a
micro stomp format, TONEX ONE was born, giving life to the perfect
pedalboard companion.

TONEX ONE can replace any amp, boost, overdrive, distortion, or fuzz
pedal, and its small size allows it to fit almost anywhere.

Any artist can have as many TONEX ONE units as they want to
accommodate amps, boosts, overdrives, distortions, and fuzzes. These can
be combined with their favourite amplifiers or with another TONEX PEDAL
or TONEX ONE, acting as an amp preamp, to go directly to the PA system.

But it doesn't end here! Thanks to the editable knobs' colors, multiple
TONEX ONE units can be easily distinguished within a pedalboard.

Two modes,
unlimited possibilities

We have designed two working modes for TONEX ONE:

The DUAL MODE (default mode) condenses the power of two presets into a
single switch form factor. This mode hosts two presets (A and B), allowing
the footswitch to toggle between them. In this mode, there isn't a bypassed
status. It's intended to function akin to an amp setup with two channels.
Artists can have both clean and crunch sounds in one box, easily toggling
between them, even if the presets feature different amplifiers and settings.

The STOMP MODE is the more straightforward option, similar to the mode
used in most pedals. Here, the pedal features one preset with two states
(on and off), switchable using the dedicated footswitch. This mode works
perfectly when TONEX ONE is utilized as a typical overdrive pedal, allowing
an unaffected signal when disengaged and engaging it when needed by
pressing the footswitch.

Combining these two modes offers significant benefits in the pedal's
capabilities. An artist can use a TONEX ONE in dual mode for clean and
crunch tones, while employing another TONEX ONE in stomp mode to drive
the signal into base tones, achieving pushed clean or distorted sounds for
added versatility.

One pedal,
20 Tone Models onboard

Even if 3 playable slots may be enough for most shows, we wanted to have
the possibility to change them without the need of any app, just using the
pedal.

We created a browsing mode where 20 presets can be browsed within the
pedal and can be assigned to each one of the three preset slots without
the need of any additional device.

This is very helpful since the user can choose his top 20 presets from
TONEX for Mac/PC or from TONEX PEDAL and have them stored in the
TONEX ONE memory so he can choose the best 3 presets among his top 20
to be assigned for any show.

Let’s say you use TONEX ONE as your overdrive pedal. For different shows
you may need a Tube Screamer, a Klone Centaur or a ProCo RAT. With
TONEX ONE you have 20 tone models to choose from ready to be assigned
to your TONEX ONE.

Colorful and
customizable

The micro-knob colors on the TONEX ONE can be customized to
complement any pedalboard aesthetic and facilitate easy identification of
different TONEX ONEe units on a single pedalboard.

Given its size and affordable price, many customers may opt to purchase
more than one TONEX ONE and stack them according to their preferences.

The customizable mini-knob colors associated with each embedded preset
also offer additional advantages. They help you distinguish between A/B
and Bypass modes and making every TONEX ONE unit easily identifiable
on your pedalboard. For instance, one could have their overdrive in red,
distortion in blue, fuzz in purple, and the two amp channels in a single
TONEX ONE unit toggling A/B mode in amber and red.

The available colors include red, green, amber (default), yellow, cyan, blue,
pink, purple, and white. Additionally, there's an option to turn off the light,
perhaps for more formal settings such as in theaters or other classy
events.
